U.S House Set to Vote On Universal Background Check Bill

The U.S. House of Representatives is moving to schedule a vote soon on legislation to expand background check requirements to all firearm sales, including private sales at gun shows and on the internet.  There are exceptions for family members and temporary transfers for hunting.  Companion legislation will close the "Charleston Loophole".  GOFRO has long supported universal background check requirements at the federal and state levels.
